- תְּרַםch. sam(תרם to lift). Y.Ter.IV, 42d bot. הוה יליף תָּרֵים חדוכ׳ if he was used to give as Trumah one-fiftieth ; כד הוא תרים חדוכ׳ when he gives one-fortieth, he deprives himself of six quarters (of a Kab); a. e. Pa. תָּרֵם same, to lift, remove.Part. pass. מְתָרַם. Esth. R. to III, 6 רישיך מְתוּרָם חלףוכ׳ (Hebr. form) thy head shall be lifted (removed) in place of their heads.
